The purpose of the study is to form students understanding and perception skills using new methods and techniques of mastering vocabulary in foreign language lessons.
For the purpose of the study, the following tasks are set:
1) Describe the tasks and principles of teaching vocabulary in English;
2) Develop the methods of analysis and exercises conducted on vocabulary;
3) Analyse use of new technologies in teaching vocabulary in English lessons.

Today, in the era of globalization, a person who speaks a lot of languages has a special place in society. We all know that learning a foreign language, mastering it perfectly, plays a special role, first of all, in international relations. Language is a language that lives and develops together with the people. The head of State N. A. Nazarbayev said: "Every citizen of Kazakhstan should be fluent in three languages. By 2020, the number of residents who speak English should increase slightly," he said. I believe that every teacher who seeks to develop a student's interest in the subject of English and see the result of the fruit should act. Teaching English is both a difficult and interesting job. Currently, teachers are required to provide high-quality deep knowledge using new technological methods, improve students ' thinking, memory, and vision.
