The objective of the course paper is to study attributive adjectives in the English language. The objective stipulate the following tasks:
– to investigate the adjective notion
– to learn the works of Russian and foreign linguists about the topic
– to analyze features of attributive adjectives
– to identify their differences from other types of adjectives
– to investigate the features of functions of adjectives
The object of this work is the concept of adjectives in the English language.
The subject of this course paper is the attributive adjectives and their features.
The scientific methods of research that are used to conduct this work are as follows: descriptive method when considering the features of attributive adjectives and their differences from other kinds of adjectives, the method of analysis theoretical literature, comparative method, inductive and deductive methods.
